I saw a dog driving a car last night
Cats were dancing in the streetlight
Everyone here’s got their own beat
In this town where days and nights meet

People walking on their hands so free
Birds are singing in harmony
Upside down we roll and we tumble
In this place where the ordinary crumbles

Welcome to the upside down town
Where smiles never turn to frowns
Laughing loud we spin around
In the sky or on the ground

Clocks running backwards on every wall
Fish playing soccer in the town hall
Laughing hurricanes twirl through the air
In a world where we live without a care

Stars are closer than they appear
Whispers travel from ear to ear
In this town we forget our woes
Gravity comes and goes

Welcome to the upside down town
Where smiles never turn to frowns
Laughing loud we spin around
In the sky or on the ground
